Traineeships Belgium

Research & Development

In R&D, UCB is typically interested in biochemists, biologists, organic and analytical chemists profiles, who will carry projects as lab technicians.  Other profiles such as pharmacokinetists, pharmacists, statisticians/biostatisticians are also welcome for traineeships.
Traineeships will take place in the following functional areas:

  • Chemical Research
  • CNS Pharmacology
  • CNS Biology
  • Biometry/Outcomes
  • Non Clinical Development
  • Regulatory Affairs / CMC

Education entry level: Bachelor of Science, or equivalent.

Manufacturing

UCB is interested in pharmacists, industrial pharmacists and lab technicians, more specifically in the following functional areas:

  • Quality Control
  • Quality Assurance
  • Production

The length of traineeship for industrial pharmacists will vary from six months to one year.

UCB is also interested in bio-engineers, chemical and mechanical engineers, who will be assigned in the following functional areas:

  • Chemical Technologies and Engineering
  • Global Product Technology and Analytical Department
  • Technical Services linked to Production and Site Management

Corporate Services

UCB is typically interested in bookkeepers, financial analysts, IT analysts, HR officers and management assistants.  Traineeship will take place in the following functional areas:

  • Finance
  • HR
  • IT
  • Legal

In Sales and Marketing Operations, UCB offers hands-on training opportunities to carry specific projects in Marketing or Market Research.  For these, UCB will favour traineeships of minimum 3 months.

Education entry level: Bachelor degree.

 

Eligibility

Trainees must be at least 18 years of age and eligible to work within the European Union.
